Residential Advisor (Position #9073)

Full-time, salaried position to work in a residential program for adults with mental illness. Serves as part of a team of staff that provides 24/7 supports; responsibilities include one-to-one supports that emphasize instruction in personal independence and community inclusion. Must be able to engage individuals and maintain relationships that promote recovery and independence. Knowledge of mental illness, ability to relate effectively with a variety of individuals, and skills in direct service, teamwork, and documentation are required. Current valid Virginia driver’s license required. Degree in human services and work experience with psychiatric disorders essential.
