Clerical/Human Resources Specialist (Position #1135)
Are you an office professional with excellent clerical skills and experience working in human resources? This full-time, salaried position may be just right for you. Your time would be split between providing clerical support for the Human Resources Manager and providing general clerical and receptionist duties for the agency. You must be able to handle a wide range of responsible duties requiring flexibility, independent thinking, and the greatest degree of discretion and confidentiality. You will be required to maintain recruitment and personnel files, prepare all employee correspondence for Human Resources, operate a multi-line telephone system, and perform a wide range of administrative tasks, including transcription for psychiatrist’s reports and medical records duties.
To qualify, you must have excellent telephone and interpersonal skills, be skilled in the use of the computer and other office equipment, and have an understanding of consumer and employee confidentiality issues. You must also have completed high school or GED supplemented by college or business school courses, plus have progressively responsible experience in administrative services. Recent work experience in human resources is required. Experience in a human services/healthcare setting is preferred.
