Executive Director

Rebekah has an M.A. in Counseling from Eastern Mennonite University; licensed since 2008 by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Health Professions as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Rebekah has been working with children, families and adults in the mental health field for the past 10 years.

Barbara Brady

Barbara Brady

Director of Administrative Services

Barbara Brady has Bachelor’s (International Relations) and Master’s Degrees (Public Administration) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She comes to HRCSB after a 30 year federal career in international broadcasting, having served in many administrative and management roles. She was Executive Director of AMI of Dane County many years ago, and has a lifetime commitment to the populations that HRCSB serves.

Adam Yoder

Adam Yoder

Director of Community Recovery Services

Adam S. Yoder is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He has worked at the HRCSB since 2013. In his role as Director of Community Recovery he oversees children and adult case management, psycho-social rehabilitation, residential, skill-building, and permanent supportive housing services.

John Malone

John Malone

Director of Developmental Services

John has a B.S. from Bridgewater College. He has been working with adults and children with Developmental Disabilities in Harrisonburg City and Rockingham County since 1995.

Andrea Skaflen

Andrea Skaflen

Director of Crisis Services

Andrea is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a M.A, EdS. in Clinical Mental Health from James Madison University as well as a MS in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University. Starting with HRCSB in Emergency Services and later serving as Arbor House supervisor, she has a commitment to providing crisis services to individuals in the community.

George Nipe

George Nipe

Director of Behavioral Health Services

George Nipe is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Eastern Mennonite University. He has worked at HRCSB since 2008 and has been serving in his current role since June of 2023. As the Director of Behavioral Health Services George helps to supervise same-day access and intake, children and adult outpatient therapy, children’s case management, substance use case management, care coordination and prevention focused services.

Lisa Johnston

Lisa Johnston

Chief Financial Officer

Lisa joined HRCSB in March 2025 and brings more than 30 years’ experience in accounting management, finance, project management, and leadership. She graduated from Liberty University with her MBA. She has five years’ experience in healthcare operations, and twenty years’ experience in the banking industry. She is a VA native and recently moved to the Harrisonburg area. She is an active volunteer in the communities in which she resides. She is committed to ensuring that HRCSB is financially strong to continue providing services for the residents of the communities.
