HRCSB is seeking a lead nurse staff who has the skills and leadership qualities to oversee the daily operations of the nursing staff for the program. This individual must be proficient in the field of nursing, while sensitive to the challenges individuals face when dealing with a psychiatric crisis. Arbor House is a short-term, 7-bed crisis stabilization program working with individuals to stabilize a mental health crisis. This position works closely with the prescribers and mental health staff to assure accessible and effective 24-hour delivery of medical services appropriate to the admission and maintenance of residential crisis stabilization services. This includes supervising and scheduling the work of crisis stabilization nursing staff. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate both in written and oral format. Qualified applicants must hold current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia plus four years of nursing experience which includes experience working with mental health clients. QMHP-A credentialed as defined by DBHDS preferred.

The Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board is seeking an experienced licensed clinician and Virginia Prescreen Certified candidate for the position of Senior Emergency Services Manager. This position is responsible for the supervision of the CSB’s Emergency Services programs that provide 24/7 mental health and substance abuse emergency services including the Crisis Intervention Team Assessment Center (CITAC), oversees the coordination of Local Inpatient Purchase of Services (LIPOS) and Mandatory Outpatient Treatment (MOT). The Senior Emergency Services Manager acts as a community liaison with our local hospital and law enforcement. The position requires the highest level of confidentiality, strong diagnostic and assessment skills, outstanding skills in problem solving and conflict resolution, and the ability to work effectively with other CSB service supervisors/coordinators and community providers in planning and implementing the emergency services system. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate both in written and oral format. Developmental Disabilities Case Manager
Full-time, salaried position, to provide case management and coordination for individuals with developmental disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, many of whom receive Medicaid-funded waiver services. Activities include planning, linking, and service coordination as well as monitoring of service provision. Position requires ability to organize, manage, and document complex services involving consumers, families, and private providers. Candidates need the ability to work effectively with a varied range of ages and disability levels. CSU Specialist Hourly

HRCSB is seeking a qualified mental health professional (QMHP) who is motivated to assist residents in skill development through group and individual activities. Arbor House is a short-term, 7-bed crisis stabilization program working with folks to avoid psychiatric hospitalization, or stepping down from hospital setting before returning home. Duties include assisting in creating a welcoming and safe space for residents to develop and enhance their skills in managing their psychiatric crisis, providing coaching and psychoeducation, assisting with meal preparation and community outings. Candidates must be registered or eligible to be registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
CSU Clinician
Arbor House, HRCSB Crisis Stabilization Unit, has a full-time staff vacancy and is seeking a motivated, energetic, mental health professional to join our interdisciplinary team. Team-first dynamics and a person-centered approach to serving others make Arbor House a dynamic, stimulating, and fulfilling work place. Responsibilities include: leading/co-leading groups, admitting individuals to/discharging individual from program, one-to-one supportive counseling sessions, and ensuring a physically and emotionally safe environment for those experiencing a psychiatric crisis. Shifts include daytime as well as evening hours. Qualified applicants must have a master’s degree in a human services field and meet criteria to be licensed or licensed eligible in the State of Virginia (LMHP-E). We will provide supervision towards licensure (LPC or LCSW). Valid driver’s license required.
Overnight Residential Relief Staff
Residential Overnight Hourly Staff provide direct client services to the residents of Community Services Board operated supervised living residential services. Clients are adults with mental illness in recovery. Position requires: working knowledge of psychology, counseling and/or social work; mental illness and substance abuse; ability to work effectively with clients and service providers in the community. Services include on-site support and supervision. Residential Overnight Hourly Staff commit to a regular schedule and also fill in for other regularly scheduled staff in order to ensure staffing coverage to meet the needs of the residents. The typical shifts are overnights 9:45 PM – 7:15 AM at Market Street House. The position is awake.

Emergency Services On-Call Clinician
The Harrisonburg Rockingham Community Services Board is seeking an Emergency Services On-Call Clinician! This is a part-time, hourly position providing crisis intervention, information, referral, and prescreening for hospitalization by telephone or face-to-face. Work schedule includes evening hours, weekends, and holidays (or at any time when the CSB services are closed).
