Hourly Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
The Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board is hiring an hourly Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to work 2 to 3 days in our medical outpatient clinic. The incumbent for this position will work as part of our medical outpatient team; will provide direct services to children with serious emotional disturbance and/or adults with serious mental illness and other behavioral health concerns across disabilities. Work schedule, 2 to 3 days Monday-Friday during regular office hours.
Assertive Community Treatment Supervisor
HRCSB is seeking a qualified individual to lead our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team as the Supervisor. This position’s primary responsibility is to create and oversee our ACT team and program, in coordination with the Director of Community Mental Health Services. Our ACT team, in a partnership with our Permanent Supportive Housing program, will provide community based wrap around services to individuals with serious mental illness who are in need of stable housing.
The ideal candidate will possess considerable knowledge of adult and geriatric psychology in mental health and substance use disorders; knowledge of treatment planning for individuals having these problems; skills in assessing psychopathology; and experience crisis intervention. Knowledge and experience with ACT model of treatment is a plus. Supervision experience preferred.
Education preferred is graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in human services, plus 3 years of experience in a mental health, developmental disorders or substance use setting or a related human services field; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Professional licensure or Licensed Eligible required.

Adult Outpatient Clinician I (Licensed Eligible) or II (Licensed) Service Members, Veterans, and Families (SMVF) Focused

This full-time position will provide individual and group therapy to members of our community struggling with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring issues. This particular position will also have the opportunity for specialized training to aid in the support of service members, veterans and the family members of those who are serving, or have served, in the military. Adult Mental Health Case Manager
HRCSB is looking for a compassionate community-based case manager to work with adults diagnosed with serious mental illness and co-occurring developmental disabilities or substance use. This position is responsible for accessing, linking to and monitoring services and resources for adults in community recovery services. This position requires extensive knowledge of a wide range of individual service approaches and resources for individuals with serious and persistent mental illness. Such as skills in delivering services and crisis interventions and ability to work cooperatively and effectively with individuals. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree is required, additional education and/or experience in a mental health, developmental disabilities, or substance use setting is preferred. Individuals with bilingual Spanish proficiency are encouraged to apply.
