CSU Lead Nurse

Be a part of the leadership for dynamic, interdisciplinary team teaching who supports individuals experiencing psychiatric crisis. HRCSB is seeking a lead nurse staff who has the skills and leadership qualities to oversee the daily operations of the nursing staff for the program. This individual must be proficient in the field of nursing, while sensitive to the challenges individuals face when dealing with a psychiatric crisis. Arbor House is a short-term, 7-bed crisis stabilization program working with individuals to stabilize a mental health crisis. This position works closely with the prescribers and mental health staff to assure accessible and effective 24-hour delivery of medical services appropriate to the admission and maintenance of residential crisis stabilization services. This includes supervising and scheduling the work of crisis stabilization nursing staff. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate both in written and oral format. Qualified applicants must hold current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia plus four years of nursing experience which includes experience working with mental health clients. QMHP-A credentialed as defined by DBHDS preferred.

Early Intervention Clinician II

HRCSB is seeking an innovative and flexible clinician to provide early intervention and crisis services in the local school system. School-based services include providing face-to-face contact with at-risk youth who are identified as needing additional support due to struggles with mental health, substance use, or difficult life circumstances. The Clinician will provide brief supportive counseling, link students to natural and professional supports in the community, and work closely with school staff. Applicants must have a master’s degree in a human services, or a related field, and be clinically licensed or license eligible in Virginia. This position is full-time and salaried for a 10-month period coinciding with the school calendar.

Occupational Therapist—Infant and Toddler Connection

Harrisonburg Rockingham Community Services Board is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team. We are a quasi governmental agency, and are looking for someone who is excited to work with Infants and Toddlers. The Occupational Therapist will work closely with the parents, and other members of the team to provide quality care to patients.
Qualifications:
• Current OT license in Harrisonburg, VA
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic, and commitment to excellent customer service
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working with children and families is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services to children with physical, intellectual, developmental, and social challenges.
• Create treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Provide evidence-based interventions that are based on evidence-based practice standards established by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
• Maintain accurate records using the proper documentation and documentation system.
• Communicate with parents or guardians about their child’s progress.

CSU Clinician Hourly

HRCSB is seeking a licensed or licensed eligible clinician who is motivated to assist residents in skill development through group and individual therapy. Arbor House is a short-term, 7-bed crisis stabilization program working with individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. This position assists in creating a welcoming and safe space for residents to develop and enhance their skills in managing their psychiatric crisis, providing individual and group therapy, assisting with meal preparation, and community outings. Qualified applicants must hold a professional license or be licensed eligible (LPC or LCSW) within the State of Virginia

CSU Nurse, Hourly

Arbor House is a short-term, 7-bed crisis stabilization program working with folks to avoid psychiatric hospitalization, or stepping down from hospital setting before returning home. Duties include standard nursing practices, as well as working with team of mental health professionals to ensure high quality care to those experiencing a psychiatric crisis. This position provides opportunities for engaging on an individual level, facilitating teaching moments, and life skill development outside of general nursing duties.
Currently hiring for weekend daytime hours (Fri 2:30-7:30pm, Saturday 7-5 and Sunday 7-5pm).

Speech Language Pathologist

The Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board is looking for a Speech Language Pathologist! The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and assess infant and toddlers for speech and language delays and/or disabilities. Duties also include trans-disciplinary evaluation and treatment in a family-centered environment, primarily within the home.
