Early Intervention Clinician

HRCSB is seeking an innovative and flexible clinician to provide early intervention and crisis services in the local school system. School-based services include providing face-to-face contact with at-risk youth who are identified as needing additional support due to mental health or substance use issues. The Clinician will provide brief supportive counseling, link students to natural and professional supports in the community, and work closely with school staff. Applicants must have a master’s degree in a human services or related field and be clinically licensed or license eligible in Virginia. This position is full-time, salaried for a 10-month period coinciding with the school calendar.

CSU Specialist, hrly

HRCSB is seeking motivated, energetic, mental health professional to join our interdisciplinary team at Arbor House, a 7-bed crisis stabilization program. Team-first dynamics and a person-centered approach to serving others make Arbor House a dynamic, stimulating, and fulfilling work place. Responsibilities may include: leading/co-leading groups, admitting individuals to/discharging individual from program, one-to-one supportive counseling sessions, and ensuring a physically and emotionally safe environment for those experiencing a psychiatric crisis. Seeking staff for evenings, weekdays, and weekends. Amount of hours can vary in range, up to 25 hours/week. Bachelors level in Human Services and one year of experience in human services field (or combination of education and experience that is equivalent) required. Valid driver’s license required.

Speech Therapist—Infant and Toddler Connection

Full-time, salaried opening to work with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities and their families.

Duties include trans-disciplinary evaluation and treatment in a family-centered environment, primarily within the home. Requires expertise in diagnosis and treatment of very young children and ability to work with families from diverse backgrounds. Professional license in Virginia for therapy required.

Emergency Services On-Call Clinician

Provide crisis intervention, information, referral and/or pre-admission screening for emergency hospitalization to individuals by telephone or face-to face who are experiencing a mental health or substance abuse emergency.
This position will be only on a PRN basis during evening hours, weekend and holidays. Must have a Master’s Degree in Human Services or related specialty, plus two years experience in a mental health, intellectual disabilities or substance abuse setting. Training will be provided.
